The Best of the Best Midi Files!!

 

These are carefully selected high quality Midi files from the collection of my own arrangements, the WEB and from midifiles recived from an trusted source. They sound good on a modern Wavetable soundcard, .... and with a bad soundcard they sound like they are played on a toy-organ!!

These files are chosen because they have a high quality Midi sequencing, a good selection of instruments and they use your wave-soundcard to the limit. Some Midi files can be used as Polyfonic Ringtones after modification.

There are ten thousends of midifiles out there but many of them fail because they try to emulate the singingvoice with all kind of stupid wolf like screaming sounds..... when a simple piano will do fine. Sometimes arrangementīs are so full of sounds and instruments so they sound like an orchestra of 200 crazy monkeys playing.

 

What is MIDI?

MIDI = Musical Instrument Digital Interface

Midi is a kind of complex electronic sheet of music. Midi files don't include sounds, so the quality of sound's is depending on device you play it on. So when you download a midifile you only load a file with defenitions on how to play the music on you music device (synth, computer, digital phone...).

A midi file is not a recording of a performance, and very seldom is it a done by the original artist. It is an arrangement done by an skilled music amateur or professional (or not).

Midi files are in many cases very small, so they are fast to download.
