1st Class Passanger Car series
Ci

The building starts with Roco's
Norwegian wooden passanger car 44261, which is rather similar
to the Finnish 1st Class passanger car Ci. The main differencies
are the boggies and bevelled corners of the roof. In this project
the boggies remain the same, but the bevelled roof corners will
be fixed.

The modification starts by disassembling
the roof.

The bodywork is attached with similar
snap fittings.

The roof above doors are bevelled
up.

The bevelled roof is removed.

The bodywork is painted with dark
brown e.g. Humbrolin 84. The marking are done with Woodland Scenicsin
DT507 white transfer letters, heigth 2,5mm, except the class "1"
at the end of the car, which are 3,5mm high.

The shape of the roof corner can
be seen here.

The roof is painted black and covered
with fine sand.

The car is almost ready. Handrails
and other details will be added later.
