Einu - 2nd Class Passanger Car

Two regular Eit- passanger cars
were modified in 1993 with pneumatic doors and vacuum toilets.
These cars got new numbers 27187 and 27189.

The starting point of this project
is Märklin's passanger car nr. 4248, which have similar doors
but different boggies. 4248 have Sig-85 boggies while Einu have
Minden-Deutz boggies. In this project I use anyway Sig boggies
and change them maybe later on.

Roof ventilators are removed.

The grill on the wall is filled
with Humbrolin Model Filler.

Also the destination table is removed.

The cars are painted with Molakin
1196-S Light Grey.

The decals are self made with Bare-Metal's
decal sheet. Click the picture above to get a hi-res picture
and print it 274mm wide.

The 2nd class sign is located between
the windows.

The edges of the windows are originally
white and have to be coloured black with a permanent marker pen.

Here the cars are ready.
