Gb - Box car

Gb-boxcar was the most common wagon
in Finland for decades. Many thousends of wagons were built between
1925-1952. It was mostly built in Finland, but 1000 pcs was ordered
from Poland (in 1943-44) and 350 pcs from Sweden (in 1952).

These models are built from a plastic
kit, which was produced by Mallijunat. The kits are now sold out.



The model is painted with Finnish
Railwaymuseum's paint "Boxcar green" and Vallejo's spray
matte laquer.

Boxcar 54'725 is from 1945.

The roof of wagon is covered with
Badger's Aluminium Oxide Abrasive.
