We translate technical and various other texts from Finnish and
English
into Russian (Andrei Kokov, a native Russian
engineer), as well as from Russian into Finnish or English (Johanna
Rekunen,
professionally translating general and commercial English). We also
provide
proofreading services if necessary.
Our versatile educational basis, wide translation experience and a
good
selection of dictionaries guarantee good results.
How do we supply the result text?
The translation can be supplied in most appropriate form. Normally,
Microsoft Word is used
to produce Windows Cyrillic texts (cp1251 code page) as DOC- or
RTF-files,
as well as ASCII. If a less common format or graphics with embedded
text
are needed, please inform us in advance.
Price level?
For written translations from Finnish or English into Russian the
charge
is about 2 € per 60 characters of the result
text (counted as ASCII text), or approximately 50 € per page
(one page is 25 rows or 1500 characters). Other related jobs, such as
extra
text or graphics data processing, are charged at approx.50
€/hour.
As the difficulty of a text, the total volume and required
representation
level may vary considerably, the price for each case is set
individually.
Extra costs for shipping, handling or working on the site may be
charged,
too.
Our interpreter's rate
(Finnish-Russian)
is approx.50 €/hour, or 450 € per whole day (e.g.,
from 8:00 till 20:00). The minimum charge is for 3 hours. It is
preferrable that you contact us about interpreting
jobs well in advance.
