The Pier
Dieppe -  The Deep
a deep harbour in all times
ships coming and going
a coast with storms
the pier
with gigantic parts
from wood and concrete
The wind was dying and still I wanted to fly the small wind cone. I gave it hundreds of meters of ultra thin line.  So it would find the breeze very high up. Please feel the total silence - feel the depth of the photo - look at the tiny point in the sky at the left - the kite is there -
you are there - your heart is there
.
Enormous constructions. The swell always coming and going in the deep hollows.
The coast as so many generations have seen it.
Out there on the ocean - lonely people angling for small fish. And the lonely lighthouse.
The narrow entrance to the harbours. Here ships of all kind have sailed. Starting with Romans, Vikings. Then later - great sailing ships and now some ferry, cargo ships and sailing boats.

At sleep.

The real ocean. Let your fantasy ride the swell.
  See any far away coast.
The whole world is out there.
In the sky a lonely bird.

But
also see the gray and red horizon
that's pollution and smoke
from
cars, aeroplanes, wars, humans.

Now
the ocean is at sleep.
But
still remember -
when awake it can be a horror of tremendous power.
