200 ml regular rolled oats
150 ml soft brown sugar (firmly packed)
150 ml flour
½ tsp baking power
pinch of salt
100 g butter
Melt the butter. Combine the dry ingredients, add the melted butter and the egg and mix until smooth. Form the dough into long, flat
bars, wrap them in plastic and place in refrigerator to harden.
Slice the bars into about 2 cm wide biscuits and place on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
Bake the biscuits at 175 °C for about 10 minutes or until golden.
