BEER STEW
500 g braising steak of beef (top round or rump)
600 - 800 g potatoes
2 - 3 large onions
300 ml lager beer
300 ml cream
1 tbsp "Kikkoman" soy sauce

Cut the meat in cubes. Peel the potatoes and the onions and cut in wedges. Place the meat and the vegetables in an oven casserole or a pot.

Cook the beer, the cream and the soy sauce in a saucepan until reduced a bit. Pour the sauce in the casserole and bake at 150 °C for 2 to 3 hours or until the meat is thoroughly tender. Serve with fresh salad.
