German for Beginners

Starting out with a new language doesn't need to be hard!

I teach by the method "German in German", but it is also possible to conduct the courses in English or in Finnish.

We use course books from Germany and Finland, for instance Themen, also your own material is possible to be used.

German for Intermediate and Advanced Level

Expand your knowledge of German - don't forget it!

The programme includes:

• Build-up courses
  • Use of different course books
• Grammar courses
  • Review of grammar knowledge according to your own level and the inclusion of new grammatical structures
• Brush-up courses
  • Refreshing your German focusing on structures and vocabulary
• Conversation courses
  • We talk about subjects of current interest. The course material is up to date and authentic (for instance newspapers, TV), Special grammar is included only if required.

Business German

The correct use of German in every day business situations

The programme includes:

• Small Talk
  • Politeness around the business talk, food and drinks, intercultural aspects
• German on the phone
  • Broadening your vocabulary, practical useful exercises and simulations around talking on the phone
• Negotiations
  • How to conduct a negotiation, participating in a discussion, making a point, reacting to opinions of other people
• Trading
  • Offers, orders, quotations, invoices, and more
• Trade fairs
  • Preparation and post-processing of trade fairs, conversation and discussions at the fair
• Presentation of a company and/or a product
  • different course books available for this subject. ("Kontakt Deutsch")

We would like to stick to authentic material right out of real business life (ads, newspaper clippings etc.). Also bring your own company's publications!

German in Industry and Economy

German language assistance for many areas of business

The programme includes:

• German and IT-technology
  • All around the computer, the internet, e-commerce - with authentical material.
• German in the metal industry
  • German all around engineering, metal processing, car industry etc.
• German in the paper industry
  • Not just special terms all around paper manufacturing!
• German at the hospital
  • If needed, with course book, around hospital, nursing and medicine

Other special subjects are possible, but please let us know in advance for optimal preparation.
