    Notes on note shapes etc.

  • The wooden hammers are used for smoothing and shaping of the notes.

  • Remember that the surface between the notes must make a PERFECT BOWL!

Hitting zones to bring the center up

  • Hit first on the areas marked green, then on red and then outside the red on the borderlines to make the center rise.

    The center is up

  • If you have done it the right way, the center will rise up. This note still needs much hitting on the sides to make it rise properly.

    Almost ready

  • This is almost ready. You can reshape (lift up from the inside) the note after the cutting and before burning to get the right form. B is good enough, but F still needs lot of work.
