Club Renault de Finlande was founded in 1984. The president of the club is Hannele
Paukama. The aim of club is to bring together people in Finland who are interested in
Renaults.
The club also provides information about all Renault models by participating
different kind of events (for example the club has had a fair stand in EuroCar show).
There is one main yearly meeting which is called Grand Tour de Renault. Local meetings are arranged regularly in Helsinki, Tampere, Jyväskylä, Lahti, Pori and Vaasa regions. You can find pictures of meetings and events from Arkisto. Club Renault de Finlande co-operates with other Nordic Renault clubs. Once a year the Nordic clubs arrange a collective meeting which is held in turn in all Nordic countries. In the year 2000 there was the 10th anniversary meeting and it was arranged in Norway. In the year 2002 the meeting was in Finland. Look pictures |
Club Renault de Finlande co-operates also with other French car clubs in Finland. Ones a year there is a common meeting called "Ranskalainen visiitti" in which there are partisipants from all different French cars clubs (Citroen, Peugeot, Simca etc.). |
Renault has a long history with rallies and therefore Club Renault de Finlande gives its members the possibility to test their driving skills on a racetrack. The club has a subsection called the Gordini section that arranges the racing events, like for example Jour Gordini. The Gordini section organises also other activities (see Gordini pages ). Club Renault de Finlande publishes a magazine called Renaultist, which comes out usually twice a year. There is also a bulletin called Salmiakki, which informs the members on forthcoming activities and cars and car parts for sale or wanted. Salmiakki comes out usually four times a year. Both Renaultist and Salmiakki are posted to the members of Club Renault de Finlande. |
